Britain - A History

The British Isles lie off the northwest corner of the European mainland.Surrounded by water in recent times, but tha has not always been the case.
The first people to arrive did so on foot when the British Isles was part of the much bigger land mass of Europe.
As time went on and the Islands separated from the larger European land, more visitors came by boat, among them were:

Celts

Romans

Anglo-Saxons

Vikings

Normans

The kingdoms were smaller but these kingdoms spent years warring with each other, by 1000 years ago the main four parts of the British Isles were mapped and had their own identities.
